NOTE: The analyst need to understand the use of Test Weightings. However the default Test limits of the Test Weightings for all Algorithmns have been chosen so only the very advanced Analyst needs to be concerned about them.
Test Weightings are the mathematical calculations that determine the "order" in which the tests in a test candidate grouping are selected for both fault detection and isolation. Although diagnostics may be generated using the default test weighting definitions provided within each diagnostic algorithm, the Analyst may modify these weightings in order to optimize the order of testing based on customized priorities.
